Thinking about tomorrow.
It’s not tomorrow yet. I’m thinking about it though. This. What would be the right thing to focus on tomorrow. It’s not day 15 yet, but why not get ahead? Anticipate the moment. No surprises.

It’s tomorrow. Did anything I had to say about what I should have thought today do any good?

How much does our thinking help? How much does anticipating a moment allow us to be with that moment? Expectations will always get in the way of us seeing and experiencing what’s happening. We will always have judgements about what’s happening. So we have to be able to recognize where our judgments are getting in the way of us actually living.

How many times have you thought you knew exactly what someone was going to say or do. Or how a situation was going to go. Or what kind of a person someone was, or what their judgements about something were. Perfection doesn’t mean good, it just means complete through our own judgement. Where we think all the blanks have been filled in. Give yourself the mental space to be surprised today by everything not having to be what you think.
